Saralee, who hacked my system and fixed it for me? All I did was take a week off from working on my record. Have I sorely underestimated ear fatigue? It was like a dog whistle...WAY up there. I'll be dipped if I can't hear it anymore. Still a bit of fine tuning and work, some fades, and it might be a bit to trebly still...but that high-pitched-old-TV-set-with-the-sound-off whine has all but disappeared. Will I hear it tomorrow?

Sorry for starting 15 threads about this.

Only way to judge is to wait another couple of weeks, and then open your stuff in the morning.

Mixing is one thing, but i always found fine tuning EQ and mastering and the such is best done in the morning in small doses. For me at least thats when my ears are fresh.

Maybe you just had a ground loop hum somewhere. I once had a buzzing caused by two mic cables laying across each other.
