I have tried a good number of compressors and my gosh...
Everything about this compressor just kills. First off, I find that it is possibly the most transparent compressor I've used so far. It sounds a lot like the Diamond in that regard.
The tone knob is incredibly useful.
The independent volume knob is great to have.
The wet/dry mix is brilliant...adds tremendously to the versatility of the pedal.
The sustain can dial in a super subtle compression all the way to a nice, harmonically-rich squash. Every setting on this knob is inspiring and useable.
And then, the attack knob is great...I love being able to dial in the spank if I need it...the attack knob does a great job of changing the overall character and feel of the comp.
And finally, it is a very quiet compressor -- adds much less noise than any compressor I've used.
All in all, gosh...I love this thing. Wampler truly killed it on this one. I can't imagine getting rid of it.
