Glenn Hughes & Rata Blanca : Stormbringer

I have no idea who Rata Blanca is but the guitar player is damn tasty and gets a great tone. Judging from the youtube comments it an Argentine metal band. Hughes's voice sounds petter than Coverdale ever did. I like this. Song starts around the 40 second mark.

Good stuff, but for my money, David Coverdale's still got him on the overall vocals - although Glenn definitely has that Deep Purple vibe.

With a bit of eye makeup, the guitarist could pass for Alice Cooper, without trying too hard. Good chops, for sure. Playing a scalloped fretboard, looks like.
