Hot Rod Deluxe - USA vs Mexico

Is there any difference in the specs and/or sound between the older Hot Rod Deluxe made in the States versus the newer ones assembled in Mexico?

Have there been any other places where Fender HRDx have been made?

The only differences I'm aware of is the audio taper pot. The USA had a more linear increase in volume and the newer versions go from 1 to loud as hell immediately. Easy fix though - had mine done. Still really loud though. One other thing is that the newer MIA versions have a bias knob.
