View Full Version : True Bypass Loop - Or Jamman mod?

Hey guys,

I own a JamMan stereo, which is the only non-true bypass pedal in my chain and that noticeably harshes my tone when I pass through it.
So I wanted to either mod it (but I didn't find anything about it, and in fact I'm not really confident it can be done at all), or use a true bypass loop pedal (as small as possible, don't have much room left in my board).
In the second case, which is the smallest you know?
Thanks

Simone

Good question, I'd like to do the same.

I would contact JHS about the mod - they do not say "no" or "can't be done." often.

And this is as small as the loopers get because you have to be able to fit a footswitch and 4 jacks:

(the pictures looper is loop-master, however many companies offer these)

Well, they seem to do good jobs, but they are in the US, while I am in Europe...sending a pedal over there to get it modded and sent it back again seems quite an overkill ;-)

When I had a JamMan, I had it in one of these and it worked great and was unobtrusive.

Ya, if I had known you in the UK I wouldn't have suggested JHS. Looper will likley be your best option anyways.
