Just watched a YouTube video of yellowe ledbetter live and love the tone in the intro. Nice thick, bassy, bluesy tone. I know mike is always changing Amps but anyone know if this is a straight TS9?

In th first few seconds it sounds like hEs noodleing around on a clean amp just about to breakup then clicks on and OD

Just no way to ever tell. By 2003 their gear would have been all over the place.
I also know they tended to use Sonic Distortions a lot. Could be that turned down low.
I will say that thats a sound that can be found in a TS9.

Bump , really this is more of a ts-9/ts9 mod question . Does the tubesxreamers give that slightly compressed OD sound( more bassy and compressed compared to open and trebly) or is that something else?
