AnalogMan KoT waitlist time?

I just signed up for the waitlist and wanted to know if anyone knew what the wait time was running. Is it still about a year? I just saw Jim Weider a couple weeks ago, and decided it was worth the wait.

Check the KoT page on his site. You can usually get a pretty good idea of the current wait by looking at the currently shipping dates.

I think it's down to 15 months now. I got on the list in Nov '10 and got the pedal Feb '12.

It's 235$ for the base model. "Higher-gain" option is 10$ each side. Shipping will vary depending on where you are.

The wait list has gotten a bit shorter, but I think it's still 15 months+ I got mine in January 2011, after waiting almost 2 years(!!). Fun pedal, and worth the wait. Just get on the list, and forget about it. Lots of other OD pedals to check out while you wait !!! :)

They are $195 (v2), $205 (v2 Jumbo), or $235 (v4) plus $10 S & H in the usa $25 Canada, or $35 overseas.

(+the $10/side higher gain option)

King Of Tone is now shipping to people who got on the waiting list on or anytime before : Nov 28, 2010 (not 2011, sorry!)

We have about 100 KOT pedals and 50 bicomps ready to ship, my shipping guy has been SO BUSY that the waiting list pedals have been piling up. The economy is back, we'll get more shipping help if needed, thanks!!

I can honestly say, the KOT is ONE of the VERY FEW pedals that actually lived up to my expectations of it... especially after waiting for so long, my expectations were high.

Yes the wait is tough in the beginning, but then you forget about it and one day a year later you get a lovely e-mail! That said when it's a product that has great value for the $, is very well made and comes from a completely stand-up guy, I didn't mind the wait.

Back in Nov 2010 I sent the email to ge tin the list... I totally forgot about it until a month ago when we had a KoT in the studio and I was like... I told the engineer.. Dude, I sent an email requesting a spot in the list.... I guess if it was received I'll be contact some day hahaha. 2 days ago I check my email and voila! a mail from Mike "Your King Of Tone pedal is ready" haha... I immediately called the engineer to tell him about the coincidence. I'm still trying to decide which version to order and when (I don't have much money to spend right now since a Vibe Machine will be shipping to me in the 3 week of March). Very Curious to have the KoT with me though
