I am not savy enough to tell you exactly why my E was not "doing it" for during this weekends jam, but it just wasn't. I play through a Rivera S120, clean channel with a strat and tele.
I've read good things about the Mojo Drive, sounds like a possible competitor.
Thanks

Which one did you have? Mine is a Fuse, and stacks great with a compressor in front and fuzz behind.

It's an older white version, not sure of the name of it. I'll try your stacking scheme :)
Thanks!

I like my Eternity but the SRB808 might be the ticket.

The XTS Multidrive replaced my old handwired E. I don't miss it a bit.

You see the Eternity beat'd the fulldrive on Vintage setting for me
The LTD SR beat'd the FD on FM
As cool as comp cut was that footprint wasnt justification enough to keep it over other clean boosts.
(didnt stop me from buying another fulldrive later on)
((sold that too))

The E has some real magic to it and it's fun to play, but I thought it was cutting bass too much. I replaced with a Klon Klone and I love it for just about everything. There's a different quality to the Klone that other overdrives don't have.

I went through a bunch of the earlier bursts (and an '05 white HW) and replaced them with a handwired BJFE LGW. I honestly have not tried any of the SMD pedals from Lovepedal, but I have owned many of his handwired creations and honestly have had my fill of LP. The E does have some harmonic magic that I haven't heard in another TS style pedal, but its impedance compatibility with the rest of the board and the bass cut bumped the E off for me.
I am currently using a BF Honeybee and a Skreddy Screwdriver Dlx as my main ods, matched with a MP Forest Green Comp.

The output impedance problem encouraged me to remove my beloved Eternity Burst from my 'board. I now use a Timmy or a Wampler Black '65 as a replacement.

I was surprised by what happened to me. I had the Kanji Eternity for over 2 years and never thought I would replace it.
I was surprised to find that my Timmy (when I got it) covered most of the sounds but was so much more versatile.
I hate to sound like a fanboi, but it was really really great for me. I ended up selling the Kanji within the month...and it was hard to let go, mostly for sentimental reasons.
I didn't think I would be one of THOSE guys that just reps the Timmy in every thread, but it is pretty awesome.
