First, what do people who use the Humdinger think about its transparency? I want something VERY transparent...NO tone change, preferably.
I am going to be running a GigRig Midi-14 with effects before the amp, as well as in the amp FX loop. GigRig's site says "you may, or may not, need" a Humdinger to prevent Earth/Ground Loops when setting the Midi-14 up like this. Anyone doing this with a Red Plate Amp (I have BlackVerbDuo88) and found they have earth/ground loop problems?
Also, can someone confirm the isolated output is buffered, too?
I want a buffer at the end of my before-amp chain, anyways, so I might as well make the before-amp isolated at the same time to avoid any problems!
