I got a AnalogMan Chorus in a recent pedal swap. What I need to know is.... is it worth upgrading/modding to stereo? Has anybody used the regular one and changed to the stereo version? I will be using it in-line, AM Chorus>Flashback>Stereo Wet. Thats with the Stereo upgrade..........or I leave it alone and put it after the Wet on 1-of the 2 signal paths to the Amps!! Hopefully this isn't to confusing and thanks in advance for the help!!
Not sure if it's worth modding, personally I would sell the mono one and just buy a new stereo chorus. I run everything mono, including an Analogman Mini Chorus, into the Stereo WET and out to two heads. Sounds awesome.

Thanks for the help, NO.9 Anybody else mod their AM Chorus for stereo? Or sell mono to get stereo? Is it worth it sound wise, would you do it agian?

Not sure how much better having the chorus in stereo would be. I might email AnalogMike about it and see what he thinks? I do love the sound of the Small Clone/Analogman Chorus, very nice for faux Leslie tones...

If you have all stereo effects after it, and don't mind the extra patch cords, the stereo option is really cool.
You could keep it where it is and run the stereo effects after it, that's what most people do with a mono chorus.
If you run it after the last stereo effect into just one amp, it's sort of like some other "stereo" chorus pedals that have one side wet and one dry. Not really stereo but could sound good.
If your amps are spread out nicely, you'll really like the stereo mod...
Hope that helps!

Thanks drbob1 and AnalogMike for your knowledge on this subject!! I play on pretty small stages so the Boogies are most often going to be sitting side by side. If it wont change much in this set-up maybe I should just leave well enough alone!! Or.........Maybe not?? Such hard decisions!

Would you recommend running your stereo chorus before or after a stereo WET?

I think reverb last is best.

I have a stereo Bi-Chorus and the spread is HUGE. I repeat, HUUUUUUUGE....
Go for the mod, stereo chorus is almost an entirely different effect than mono chorus

How much is the mod, and does it create true stereo (with mirror modulation to both sides, or just a one side wet one side dry thing)?

i LOVE your board No.9!!!!!!
i LOVE your board No.9!!!!!!
Thanks, it's been pretty heavy with Mike's stuff for a while now, I got that TS-808 tv mod and Comprossor from him about 10 years ago, those were the first pedals I bought. I've been using the Comprossor all day everyday since then, always after dirt/fuzz, and the Astrotone is now becoming another all day everyday-er.

You can't go wrong with Analogman stuff. Ever.

I had a AM chorus clone mono running after reverb into one of the two amps for that faux stereo sound and it worked figgin awesome. The spread was Alex Lifeson huge. I'd try it first to see if it sounds good with your rig before going the stereo route.
My two cents.

I had a mono Bi-Chorus, and sent it back to Mike to get modded for stereo. Worked great for me, I ran in out into a Boss DD7, then into two amps. Big, big sound. Wish I still had that pedal (I downsized my board, and amps, and went to a mini AM chorus).

It does create true stereo, with chorus on both sides (not one side wet and one dry like Boss CE-1 etc).
It's $50 for the stereo option when we build the pedal, or $75 to add it later on, to a recent V4 chorus (the board has an empty space for the stereo relay and other parts).
