My original black Dean Z (Explorer) was stolen from my storage area in Coppell, Texas. The guitar was in a flight case, the case was left, guitar is gone. The guitar is totally stock, no damage except some finish checking. On the back of the headstock is stamped Patent Pending, and the stamped serial number is 00298 or possibly 289 as best as I could make out. The finish is thick and the last 3 numbers were never clear to me. It has the top binding, dot inlay, big Grover tuners, gold knobs, and zebra Dimarzio's with the white bobbin oriented on top on the rhythm pu and on bottom on the bridge pickup.
