Hi There all.
Not the most popular brand round these parts, but I recently got a Bugera V55HD to compliment the V22 that I've had for over a year now.
The V22 was retubed with JJ's about 2 months after I got it, and the improvement was immmense. Now its time to retube the V55.
I've considered a straight swap with JJ's, but my local valve emporium has a bundle/kit for a Fender amp that has Electro Harmonix 12AX7's and JJ 6L6's, which is a little easier on the pocket.
Does anyone have any experience with EH 12AX7 valves used with JJ's in the power stage. Or any other brands for that matter. For info I'm not flush (with cash) so NOS tubes/premium brands arent in my considerations.
