i have a delay with a really long trail that i like to play over. i want to be able to selectively switch my signal in and out of the delay, all while it continues to trail and i can choose to play over the effected signal or play the bypassed signal.
i had an a/b switch that i used to switch between the delay and the unaffected tone, but i couldnt find a way to reconnect the dry sound and the delay sound back into a single amp without signal loss.
i think i need a parallel mixer with an on/off switch for the input but not output signal. is there such a thing? would putting an a/b switch in front of the delay and the reconnecting the signals with an a/b/y switch work or would there be a loss of impedance and volume? does a boss ls-2 do all this in one box? does any of this make sense?
i saw the video analogmike posted for the gigrig wet box, but i want to do that without the expression pedal, in just one box

Badgereffects Schism parallel loop pedal will do this.

thanks for the reply. anything under $100 that can fix me? will the a/b box at one end and the aby signal router at the other end work? or is there a loss in volume?
