Always played clean amps. Just sold a pot city pearl, which was fantastic.
I have a Morgan RCA35 on the way. No effects loop. Planning of running the amp on the verge of break up. Practically clean with the slightest amount of hair on it. I will then push it further with a few drive pedals if needed. Timefactor will be at the front end.

Will my tone get all mushy with the timefactor infront of the amp, altho the actual drive pedals are before the TF? Ive always heard people say never to use delay infront of a dirty amp, they just never talk about how dirty ....

I have a Top Hat CR 1x12 which I run on the edge of breakup with a delay in front. On their own delays if set to high can also create their own boost in signal that can also create more distortion in the amp....and that's not always a good thing. In addition, some amps respond well to the guitar volume knob and dynamics, while others don't. Not sure about the Morgan RCA. My suggestion (which works for me), is keep the output or level of the delay lower than if it were a clean amp, and while the delay is engaged with the amp cranking, use your picking/rythm/vol technique to keep it from compressing and mushing out too much. Just my experience.

No problem, that will work just fine.

Its only an issue when you have delay going into a heavily overdriven (distorted) amp.

Never had an amp with an effects loop so they've always been in front for me without a single problem.

I think for some sounds, delay before slightly overdriven amps can sound very cool :-)

I've never put delay in the front. I like OTT sounds though (or maybe my ear is just amateur). But I've never felt compelled to put it in a loop.
