View Full Version : Lava Cable Customer Service is Superb!

One of my cables decided to die. I contacted Mark at LC. He responded very well and sent me a replacement for free (granted it was a low end LC). It accidentally went to my old address in Canada and he sent another one back to my Detroit home. Amazing!

I will ensure all my future cable purchases are all from LC (not that they aren't now haha)

Ive bought about 20 cables from Mark.. only one DOA and he sent a new one immediately.. no questions asked.. Perfect service!!

don't worry, i know a dealer and a customer that feel the same way.

It's unfortunate. I ended-up with a mix of George L and Lava and would rather get a Bullet coily now, after my experience. Maybe in a few years, I'll try again?

The thing I like most about their customer service is that I haven't had to deal with them yet because their products hold up on their own :phones

What is your issue? I have no problem helping if we dropped the ball. Even on saturday.

Mark and Tony are both great to deal with. I've been a dealer for many years and have ZERO complaints.

My guitars didn't play well with some of the silent switches and Mark sent a replacement cable to me before I could mail my cable back.:aok

Lava has incredible customer service.

Mark refunded my shipping costs and let me pick up my cables at their headquarters because I live so close.

One experience only. But an extremely positive one in dealing directly with Mark on the phone. Each cable was a first class build and the order (not that small) arrived ahead of what had been suggested... in spite of them being quite backlogged just then. I'd have zero hesitation to return and reorder LAVA cables. I'd like to believe that I'd be sorted out in short order if things were not working as they should.

I want to chime in on a recent Lava customer service experience. First off, I have a handful of Clear Connect cables as well as my pedal board wired up with Lava.

At practice, one of my Clear Connects that I have been using regularly had stopped working. When I got home from practice I decided to send Mark a PM. It was 2AM his time. He responded within 5 minutes and sent me a new Clear Connect II cable.

I could not be more pleased with the product AND customer service. I am a Lava customer for life!

Just don't be lazy with the mini ELC kit... most people "knock it" because they are "rushing" or being "lazy"....

You will find that if you take your time and make sure EVERY step you take is "by the book", then you will have the best guitar/pedal cables in the business (IMHO).... :D

No explanation as to the background, why I would want to do this, etc.

Need to improve these type of communications in the future.

It would take 2-3 extra sentences.

You assume everyone uses buffers.
IF the guitarist is using a buffer, then you have not accounted for the cable before the buffer
I hardly call 3.1k posts by TurtleHeadBlues and 4.7k posts by LavaMan, since 2004 and 2005 respectively, spamming.
