Fuzz? Tube Driver? Marshall? Dumble?

Any idea? (the dirty parts).

He gets an almost synth sort of sound on the lower notes so maybe it's the fuzz face? But higher it sounds too clean IMO to be fuzz. But I'm the last one to rely on.

4:00-6:00 sounds like his fuzz/ dirty rhythm. Rest is Tube Driver/ lead tone.

IMO all the dirty tones in that clip are his Marshall/Tube Driver lead sound.

From what I can tell he is using the Marshall for most of the solo parts. You see him in the last couple seconds of the video go over to the cabinet that the Marshall head is on top of and get some feedback. I used to have a b.k. Butler tube driver and it reminds me of the tone and feel I got from it. Amazing video, thanks for the link!

The dirt tones on "CoD" are pretty much all Tube Driver/Marshall here - his fuzz tone back then was very distinct - a cutting, sort of a buzz saw sound like you hear on parts of songs like "Desert Rose."
You can hear it here at 1:05 -

His fuzz sound nowadays is alot smoother (running Marshalls for rhythm instead of the Dumble SSS) and is a little more similar to his regular lead sound - at least compared to the difference in the late 80's/early 90's...
