without altering it?

I don't want to remove the feet or put velcro on it - beyond the fact that it's such a spendy pedal, it's also so aesthetically pleasing that it would feel like putting a moustache on the Mona Lisa.

anybody have an elegant solution?

I have seen some drill small holes in the pedalboard on each side of the pedal and fasten the pedal with stripes/cable ties... The Klon is quite wide but you can always link two or more stripes together.

Here´s an example i found after some googeling!

Can you just buy a replacement backplate from somewhere? then you can velcro or do whatever you want to it.

Just use extra long cable ties. Combine multiples if you need to. It's how I attach my M9. Works like a charm.

Get the 3M Command Strips to hang pictures on a wall. They're rated to support up to 3 or 4 lbs and the best part of it is that you can remove the velcro without a trace of evidence when you want.

How about simply taking the back plate off and reversing it (inside out).
Velco and you are set...no damage to sticker and completely reversible.

Yep..that easy

A trick I do with some of my more expensive pedals is I get a double sided plastic removable sticker. Like the ones you used to get in the reusable sticker books. Put velcro on that, so when you want to sell it or take it off you just remove the sticker.

I'd feel nervous about taking it out of the house and end up buying a clone for gigs.

You can always buy more feet to put on later. Just an idea.

I use small bungee cords and wrap them around the pedal and the board. Works great for me.

I put a piece of Velcro on either side of the sticker and it's worked for years.

Put blue painter's tape on the bottom of the Klon. Then you can use velcro. When you want to sell the pedal, or get it back to original, just peel off the tape. It won't mess with the bottom of the pedal.

It won't mess with the bottom of the pedal.I think this is some solid advice. However, it just sounds like you wanted to make an investment, but also want to play music with it. Its value decreases everytime it leaves the house! If you want to make sure it doesn't get stolen, I think you should zip tie it down.

I have a couple pedals with feet on them that I didn't even bother to velcro to my pedalboard. Since my patch cables are cut to as short as possible, they don't even move anyway.

Some solid suggestions all, thanks. And it's not really an investment - I don't think it's likely I'll ever sell it, I just don't want to alter it - again, some weird aesthetic thing on my part.

Still interested in other solutions, but I'm actually thinking about just buying another, smaller Bedroom Board. velcro, you stink.

You can remove the bottom plate of the pedal, take a strip of velcro and put both ends around the baseplate and then secure the plate back onto the pedal, which will affix the velcro but not leave any sort of residue. I haven't personally tried this, but I've heard of some guys doing this.

Eh, just velcro it. And cable tie it if its still moving around on you. Its a pedal. Use it. Make music. Enjoy.
