Hi,
Here is a constrained problem: Configure this Board?
Music: Blues
Guitars: Telecaster, ES- 335 and one with P-90s
Amps: Both Fender circuits; one Blackface and other Tweed
Imagine you have a Pedaltrain Mini that can comfortably hold 5-standard sized pedals (you can put more but it gets kind off tight). You take up one spot for your tuner (Sonic Research Turbo Tuner ST-200). You now have 4-spots left for overdrives and a delay pedal. You want to set up the pedalboard with the following sequence:
Guitar(s) > Tuner > OD/Boost(s) > Delay > Amp(s)
ODs/Boosts Taking up One Spot:
· BJF Honeybee
· Hermida Zendrive
· Ibanez TS-808 HW
· Jettergear Gain Stage Red
· Lizard Leg Flying Dragon
· Maxon OD-9 (Analogman Silver Mod)
· Menatone Red Snapper (4-knob)
· Skreddy Screwdriver
· Xotic Effects RC Booster
ODs/Boosts taking up Two Spots:
· Analogman King of Tone (v4)
· Barber Electronics B-Custom Cool
· Paul Cochrane Tim
Delay Taking up One Spot:
· Wampler Analog Echo
Delay Taking up Two Spots:
· T-Rex Replica
So tell me which you would choose? If you choose The Wampler Analog Echo you get three slots for OD/Boosts (e.g. three single pedals or a double and a single). If you choose the T-Rex Replica, you leave only two spots open (e.g. two single pedals or one double). So given that the genre is blues, you have blackface and tweed amps and guitars with single coils and humbuckers; how are you going to configure this board? Who stays on the raft and who goes and what sequence?
Have Fun,
Bob
P.S.
Stop laughing about me buying all of these pedals...:-)
