Looking for opinions and experiences with these 2 overdrives from those of you who have had all 3 of them. I just got a Shiba Drive, and it's looking to kick my Signa Drive to the curb at the moment. Seems to have more fullness and maybe harmonic richness, but I'm going to spend more time with them both.

The BB isn't going anywhere. It may come off my board, though, and be used as a grab-and-go or home use pedal. The Signa Drive has been that lately. The BB is tried-and-true, and I just love the clarity and tone.

Curious>>what about the Shiba that knocked the Signa off the board?

Actually, on my board I have a Suhr Riot and my BB Preamp. The Signa Drive has been what I use when I don't need the entire board, or just playing at home. I like it because it's somewhat versatile for a low-medium overdrive. Now I might take the BB Preamp off the board, use that instead, and have the two Suhr pedals on the board. The Signa would be sold or traded, or maybe just shelved, because I do like it. I just don't need so many dirt pedals!

Back-to-back, at similar settings, it seems to have more girth and body. Basically, it sounds fatter. Similar to how I preferred the Riot to the Brownie for my high gain pedal. They both sound good, but there's just more punch with the Suhr pedals, and they sit well in the band/stage mix.

I was playing my R6 and Jazzmaster, which are both P90 guitars, so I haven't tried the Shiba Drive with my other guitars. Maybe I'll prefer the Signa Drive with a different guitar, too. I've got some playing around to do this weekend!

I already know the BB Preamp sounds good with everything, which is why it is my go-to OD pedal.
