I haven't heard much by them but Pandora played 'Sketches of Spain', which has the intro based on 'Concerto de Aranjuez', a Joaquin Rodrigo piece. I was impressed. I bookmarked them and the tune Pandora played today was also excellent. I'm going to have to check them out more.

My brother, "Wolff and Tuba," is opening for Buckethead on this tour.

Anyone see him? Reactions?

Buckethead is a seriously great guitarist. I also enjoy his stuff with Praxis.

I saw them at Northern Lights in Upstate New York. Wolff and Tuba and That 1 Guy both created some serious low end sounds on their instruments. I thought that was really cool. Wolff and That 1 Guy really have the technology down for building up multi layered solo live performances. I was musically and technically impressed.

Buckethead kicked serious ass even though he took a hard fall from the stage between his songs. His tech helped him back up. I thought for sure he really hurt himself but he came back after a few minutes and slayed the place. He sounded great through the Marshall/Bogner rig. Some would say better than the Triple Recto sound but I always liked his gnarly high gain Mesa tone. :munch

Well worth 20 bucks a head IMO..

I was impressed by Wolff and Tuba. Lot of looping done live and on the fly. Not much triggering going on.

I saw them in Syracuse last week. I was really pumped to see That One Guy for the first time, and wasn't disappointed. I appreciated what Wolff did to an extent, but honestly wanted to fast forward the rest of his set after the first 10 minutes. I think having to listen to him any longer would've been torture. It was cool when all 3 of them played at the end of the show, and Wolff did a little "call and reply" with Big B. There was no real "end" to the show... no encore... nothing. They just walked off after the last jam kind of dwindled. That was the worst part of the show. No wait... the worst part was when some douche dressed in a jumpsuit, kfc bucket and mask kept crowding the side door during B's entrance, trying to get pics of him with his iphone. Security had to keep nudging him back to keep him from dry humping Buckethead as he made his way into the venue. Maximum Bob walked in behind him but never came onstage and, much to my chagrin, there were no Deli Creeps songs played that night.

I've seen him several times with Buckethead in the NYC area I enjoy truly his creativity. A unique live sonic experience for sure!

This is true. He does all the parts live on the fly.

That 1 Guy (Mike Silverman) is very cool.

I actually agree (to an extent -- not the torture part) with the comment about my brother (Wolff). Since he does all the parts live, I often feel that the songs take a long time to take shape. He often plays with a drummer, and I think the songs take off a lot quicker and are more dynamic that way.

By the way, my brother's previous band, "Drums & Tuba" featured a great, very creative and underappreciated guitarist named Neal McKeeby (plus a great drummer named Tony Nozero). Worth checking out.

He's a "him" not a "them" :)

Check out the albums Electric Tears and Electric Sea, you will like them both.
