I'm a Strat guy. They're perfect for me. My Strat right now is a Fender Custom Shop Custom Deluxe Strat. It's a 2010 model in trans blue- before it was a standard color on the 2011s. I believe it was a prototype. Only two made with the old pickup combo in that color. The ash is one piece and INSANELY figured. That's why I got it. It has a pretty chunky 65' C neck with. Maple board. I love it but my perpetual Strat GAS has brought me to wanting a Wildwood 10. Probably a 59' but I LOVE all of them. Care to show me some of those amazing instruments?

My only Wildwood 10 is a Dealer Select and is also also the first strat that I bonded to.

These look really great!
I do have couple questions. How are the Wildwood 10's different than regular Custom Shop? How about compared to Eric Johnson?
THanks!

That is one of the most amazing looking guitars I've ever seen. I'm pretty jealous cause that thing is totally amazing.
Good on ya!

the 10" radius fretboard is one thing. the second thing is that a major run of the '59 WW10s had brazilian rosewood fretboards...and pretty good looking ones at that. they also have special design pups that aren't available outside the run. other than that, they're pretty much like any other team builds and masterbuilds but i swear it seems like they put a little more attention to these guys.

Thanks! The color is actually a Faded Chartreuse but this was the only one where they faded the finish making it goldish. The other Faded Chartreuse they have is much greener.

The Wildwood 10's have some features that are only available on masterbuilt guitars, such as custom colors, selected lighter pieces of wood, often they also have custom pickups not available elsewhere. They often come with buffed fingerboards and Brazilian Rosewood. I had a long checklist in my guitar case when I got it listing every feature about the guitar.
You get or almost get masterbuilt quality on a team built custom shop. Even if I didn't bond with it, I'd likely keep it because it has all those features. It looks even more exotic in real life with the color shifting from gold to olive green to more green depending on the angle you look at it from.

I like their attention to small details that probably most people wouldn't even notice, such as the slightly darker color around parts of the pickguard in spots.
