I need some docs notarized and I am heading out of town for several days. I need them notarized today (Sunday).

Any ideas?

Are there any UPS or FedEx stores near you open on Sunday? It's hit or miss, but some of them have notaries. Other options might be a real estate office, or a bail bond office if you're really desperate.

Look in the phone book. Many work out of their homes and would probably be open to making a few bucks.

If all else fails, try a public library, if one is open on Sunday near you.

My boss (head of the reference department) is a notary and she works on Sunday.

Go to your state's secretary of state website, search for notaries and it should give you a list of every notary or at least a bunch of them in your city. You could call around...
