Awesome. I've always wanted to try out a Sadowsky. I've heard only great things about his guitars, and my brief dealing with him was very positive.
Congratulations!

Specs, as per request.
BODY One piece Ash
NECK maple
FRETBOARD Bird's eye maple
PICKUPS Sadowsky hum cancelling
ELECTRONICS Sadowsky preamp with mid and gain boost
CONTROLS master volume, mid-boost, tone
TUNERS Sperzel
BRIDGE Gotoh 1055 with steel block
PICKGUARD 3 layer parchment
SCALE 25 1/2”
NUT synthetic, 1 11/16”
RADIUS 9"
FINISH olympic white
WEIGHT 7.3 lbs
My biggest concern was the neck profile. When it comes to necks, I'm very picky. I have to say that the neck profile is one of the most comfortable I've ever owned. This one feels perfect in my hand.
I don't understand why Sadowsky's don't receive more attention. They are amazing instruments!

Enjoy.....Sadowsky guitars are exceptional instruments.
Hi, I bought it new from CR Guitars (http://www.crguitars.com/).
I thought Sadowsky only sells his solidbody electric guitars direct and not through dealers.
Maybe his policy has changed.

So I have been interested in these things but want to make sure that they are right for me.
I like Tyler and Lentz guitars the best, Suhrs not as much as they feel more sterile and plastic.
Are the Sadowskys more like Tylers or Suhrs? Would I like one?

I had a very nice Suhr standard, great guitar with great splittable buckers--- felt a bit more "modern"--- the Sadowsky is kinda "sneaky simple" bending back towards old school, but really efficient ( almost invisable). If that makes any sense. The pre amp is Really useable, a very cool tool to have available.

Although that is correct, I have made an exception for CR Guitars. Craig Snyder and I have been best friends since the mid 70's and he is single handedly responsible for me starting my own shop in NYC back in 1979. Craig knows what sounds and feels right better than any professional guitarist I have ever known. He is my go to guy for player feedback on guitars and I use him regularly to evaluate anything new I come out with.
When he opened CR Guitars, it was my pleasure to make my instruments available to him.

Nice guitar, I had 2 Sadowsky's in the past, both Strats. I love the fact that the quality on his instruments hardly changes from one instrument to the next, very few companies can say that. The only thing I hated is that you loose your shirt when you sell them. I'll make sure my next one is a keeper.
Cheers,
Arnie...

I'm so happy with this guitar. The neck just feels perfect. Sounds great. Almost like the guitar WANTS to be played. I love it.
Looks beautiful! My bass player has the Will lee model. Really nice!
Sterile and plastic??? Due to? Wood? Plastic Alder? Plastic Maple? Plastic paint? Gotoh 510 Trem? Well that's on a Tyler as well. I guess I just don't understand what could make a Suhr feel plastic?

I had the pleasure of going to Roger's shop in Long Island City (one block from the F train...couldn't be easier) a couple of weeks ago.
I've been checking out his wares since his days on Music Row in Manhattan. I have yet to play or feel (yeah...that neck/fingerboard combination's perfect) a less than stellar instrument. The visit to LIC was no exception. I played 5 of his guitars and they were all exceptional quality instruments. The built in preamp's a big plus.
Congrats on a beautiful looking guitar.
btw: I was wondering what Craig was up to. Nice looking operation. As well as being a great musician, he's also a really nice guy.
