Chris Ethridge one of the founding members of the Flying Burrito Brothers passed away on Monday from complications of pneumonia and pancreatic cancer. He moved to LA from Meridian, MS when he was 17 and started the Burrito Bros with Gram Parsons, a former member of the Byrds. He worked as a studio musician playing with the likes of Linda Ronstat, Leon Russell, Ry Cooder and the list goes on. Also toured with Willie Nelson for eight years. He was a great guy, a friend of my son, and I'm glad to have known him. Rest in peace, Chris.
