You couldn't have just left that one in the 80's where it belongs?
that is the biggest bottle opener i have ever seen.

And it had to be an Ed Roman guitar, LOL. Now that he's gone I feel fortunate to have been able to spend a little time with him, although I don't know whether to laugh or cry about the experience.
I've always wondered how guitars like that would respond to truss rod adjustments, or even just climate fluctuation.

It's like you have to break the finish line to get to the neck .

That's so ugly that it's kinda cool looking, in a weird sort of way.

You can actually see that the frets are like 1/4" (kidding a little here) tall on that thing in the photo. Stringing that axe up with all that crazy string retainer junk on the headstock would be a royal pain in the a$$

What was the theory behind those connected / loop necks like that?

If the "hand bar" breaks (what are the odds) it looks like an easy enough fix with a sander.

Knowing Ed, he'd have some douchey explanation only fractionally based in truth.

I've never dealt with him but some of his rants on his site were a big turnoff. Toward the end he was charging fees for people to go to his store and look at his stuff.
