Sweet singing tone, Greg. Time to start brushing up on your Ford licks. ;)

Hi Norm -
I have really sucked lately . . . I don't know what the problem is. I think I've been spending too much time recording and not enough time playing . . .

I like that! :)

Very Steely Dan-ish vibe... Hey, new band name "Steely Danish" :D

Got a link for the BT?

What gear are you playing - the tone is very nice!

Hi Fig,

The name was actually "From A Small Square". :D
It always good to hear hear my older BTs coming back. It means my tunes and BTs have a fairly long "shelf life".

Nice take and nice tone as always!

Cheers,

Mats N

Hi Kevin,

This is one of my older BTs in the SD vein.
If you want to read the original thread it's here:

I hear lots of those Ford/ScottL tones jumping out of the amp and just think it's time to throw in a few "tribute licks." :)

Here's a little something for inspiration...

Thanks, everyone, for the nice comments.
When I only hear "nice tone," I wonder if people think I suck as much as I think I do.

It's kind of like saying, "Poor guy. He walks with a bad limp and has a hunchback . . . . yeah, but doesn't his suit look nice!" :D

Sorry for not giving you credit for the backing, Mats. I forgot where I got it. Very nice backing!

Thanks, Keven -

I used my LP with High Order pickups through a 212 cab with a C-Rex and Wizard (Wizard mic'd). And of course, a Scott Lerner modded Fuchs. :)

No, I'm just extremely critical of everything I do.
Thanks for the backing. :)
I just may attempt it . . .

Thanks, Mats! I'll probably have a go at this one myself soon.

By the way, I posted my 1st BT about a week ago... I don't have enough time to match your output, but I feel a need to contribute backings, too :)

Nice! Hopefully you didn't think I was only complimenting your tone :)
