1) Is there a special term for the kind of bridge as seen on this guitar, for example? It's obviously not a Bigsby bridge, but it's clearly distinct from the fixed bridges one would see on, say, a Les Paul.

2) Let's say you don't use the Bigsby vibrato. Let's say you've even taken off the vibrato arm itself, leaving the rest of the Bigsby bridge in place. Is there any tonal difference between that kind of setup and the bridge pictured above?

That looks like either ebony or a dark rosewood. It is esentially made for jazzers. IMHO, the tone will be a little more mellow with a wood bridge. Metal wouldd be brighter.

I think it's called a floating bridge.

I think it is a floating bridge, and a trapeze tailpiece

Yup, floating bridge. A Bigsby tailpiece will usually have more sustain and snap than a lightweight trapeze.

and an adjustable floating bridge at that, as opposed to a fixed floating bridge.

ftw, and most likely made of rosewood since it's on an Ibanez, unless it's a very high end Ibanez w/ ebony.
