At the LA Amp show I got a chance to hang out in the RedPlate amp room will Josh and Kirk were doing this live in front of me. I was about 5 feet away from them. Really cool. Both really good players. If anyone doesn't know Josh and Kirk you should spend some time to go listen to their playing. Both are amazing players.

Nice!
I was listening to Kirk's "El Medio Stomp" and "Blues For Antone" yesterday.

Very polished playing by all concerned. I really like the song-I used to do it in my old band.

Josh is playing a Koll with 11's which for anyone that knows Josh is like rubber bands...Kirk is playing a Baker.

Kirk is just on another planet. Love that guy!

I have been blessed to see Kirk many times. He can play all the different styles of blues and blues rock. I also have seen him play a very mean bass on a few occasions. He is from another planet.

Anyone know if it's going to be streamed on Iridium live?

I like these players, but I thought that was just ok. Guess I'm spoiled hearing Greg Koch so often.

So you are saying Greg Kock is somehow "better" than these guys....

I love Greg btw. Great player and dude....

Here are some pics of Matt from his show last night in New York City, he was awesome. He had Chris Hayes playing with him, who is the brother of drummer Kevin Hayes and also the lead guitarist from Huey Lewis & The News. Matt was fantastic as expected but Chris was pretty damn good himself!!
