Anyone else have one of these? I bought one the other day and really like the sound. Kind of funny since I just bought an El Capistan about a week before.

I'm a little curious as to how the sound-on-sound works exactly - not very intuitive.

I'd like to find some new cartridges for it as well. The tape in mine is a bit degraded, but perfect for some applications. It's got some awesome warbling going on. I see a place in the UK that sells them, but wondering if there's a US source that's cheaper. $50 is a lot for a single cartridge.

I had one that wasn't working. I tried fixing it, but no go. I think it probably needed new heads. Supposedly used on EVH Eruption solo.

I have one...worked for a bit when I got it almost 15 years ago...tape crapped out. The tapes are very rare and expensive. Supposedly you can modify old dictaphone tape but even those are hard to find.

I still have mine but haven't had the time or inclination to get it working.

Had the EC-80. Sold it because of lack of tapes. Sounded great though.

I had one, but ended up selling it because I could not find the tapes anywhere. Never even got to hear what it sounded like. :-(

I'll post a clip later. This thing is awesome.

simple sound going through, but demonstrates the basic sound.
