Hi there guys!

I have 100W Two Rock Custom Reverb Sig V3 AMP and want to buy a cabinet to play through. I was reading about Two Rock 2x12 cabs recently. There are two speaker configurations : 2x TwoRock 1265B made by WGS or 1x TwoRock 1265B + 1x TwoRock 12-65 made by Eminence. Do anyone have experience with one or both of these configurations? Whats the difference and which of these is better choice for Custom Reverb AMP?

Thx a lot :beer

I'd buy an empty cab and load it with ASW KTS 70's. IMO, the TR speakers are not that great. The one made by Eminence is pretty dark.

I have a Two Rock Custom. I use a 2x12 cab with it. I prefer the WGS ET-65. I believe the Eminence is the same as the Red, White, and Blues. I have one of these also, I do not like it near as much as the WGS speakers. The WGS speakers just get the midrange right, and they sound amazing!! Hope this helps!

I bought a 1x12 Two-Rock Sig cab with the WGS 12-65B speaker, and under the advice of Two-Rock's tech support upgraded to their speaker recommendation of choice, a Celestion 12-65. Good improvement IMO, although the WGS sounded great, the Celestion 12-65 really did take it to another level to my ear once broken in. Cheers.

Quick add on, I do own other WGS speakers (2x12 Reaper 55hz for my Fargen Mini Plex, and three 10" Veterans and one 10" Alnico for my 4x10 cab) and they have all absolutely rocked. Played the 4x10 WGS cab with both my CRS v3, SP35, and Schofield Sig and it has kicked @ss; I have not played the ET-65s, but if they are true to form with WGS's other products you can't go wrong. I use the 1x12 TR cab with the Celestion 12-65 when I want to travel light, cheers
