Gear for Led Zepagain Trib Stolen from Van In Morgan Hill, CA 6/10/2012

I was just told that my friends in the popular west coast tribute band, Led Zepagain (http://zepagain.com/), had all of their equipment stolen out of their van in Morgan Hill, just south of San Jose, CA last night. I don't have a detailed list of gear but I'm fairly sure it includes an EDS-1275, a Page Signature LP, Jazz Bass, Vintage Epi Electric Mando, plexi shell drums, E-Mu Vintage keys module and much more. If anyone is aware of anything "Zep-like" suddenly coming on the market out of that area, please PM me and I'll pass along the info. Thanks!

Sad to report, we were the victims of a pro theft job last night after a show up in northern California. Our van was broken into and most all of our gear was stolen while parked at our hotel in Morgan Hill, just south of San Jose.

Please be on the lookout for any Zep type gear you might see on ebay, Craigslist, etc. I lost 2 Gibson Sunburst Les Paul's, a Gibson doubleneck, Danelectro & Taylor acoustic guitar. Also a Mojave Coyote amp head, custom pedalboard with Led Zepagain stencilled on it, cable bag with theramin, and an accesory case with misc supplies. Our bass player lost a Fender Jazz bass, Mark bass amp, Ensoniq keyboard and sound module rack. Drummer lost his Vistalite kick drum and cymbals. Most of the cases had our band name stencilled.

Unfortunately, we had no theft insurance for this on the road, so we're looking at a slow and expensive process of hopefully recovering what we can, and replacing what we need to.

Please let me know if you see anything suspicious, and if you have any connections with local music shops and other online forums, please notify them. We want to get the word out as far and wide as we can!

Statement:

As many of you already know, we were the victims of a pro theft job last weekend after our shows up in northern California. Our van was broken into and most all of our gear was stolen while parked at our hotel in Morgan Hill, just south of San Jose. While we are pretty devastated by this, we are determined not to let this slow us down! We are not cancelling any shows, thanks to some very amazing people who have stepped up to help us with loaner equipment as well as deals on replacements.

In the meantime, we are asking ALL of our fans to help us spread the word on this, so that when our gear does show up for sale, it gets recognized and reported. If you're on Facebook, please go to our page (link at the bottom of this email) and share our stories posted there with your friends, and request that they do the same. If you're a musician and you look for used gear, please be on the lookout for anything that looks like it could be ours, and notify us immediately! And any other ways you might have to get the word out, whether by online forums & message boards, letters to the news, etc, will all help!

This is terrible, just read it on facebook. One of the reasons I never leave my guitars in ANY vehicle overnight or at a hotel or Gig location. Always take it inside with you. Pain the ass, but I know the only way my guitars would get stolen is right out of my house or off the stage. Seen too many horror stories like this one. Hopefully they get their stuff back.
