Pretty rare find. I came across it, thought I'd share.

You could have two Bludos for the same price.

Back in the day, Van Weelden had a nice clone when less was known. Nice rhyme...

Now, the cat is out of the bag and that amp is not worth more than the current builds by Bludo, Welagen, or any number of other builders. In fact, probably less so as the state of cloning is at its highest level with all the circuit info that is known now.

Fascinating... (!) soon the clones will be costier than original Dumbles it would seem...

His text is pretty funny..."I have played an actual Dumble Overdrive Special but there is absolutely no way I am going to spend tens of thousands on a guitar amplifier head."

Nope, but he's selling this for $7,000 so he did spend almost $10,000 which is a pretty fair chunk of change...Kinda the pot calling the kettle black...lol

He's probably selling it to buy one of the newer clones for half that!!! Or maybe even less!

Santana, Sonny Landreth, and Larry Carlton all play Bludo now. David Lindley is a Glaswerks guy! All these Dumble players opted for "clones" that cost a fraction of what this guy is trying to sell his Van Weelden for.

Trying to capitolize on the Bonamassa use probably.

Way too much.

Hell I could build one for 1/3rd that and still send it to Scott to tune. :D

Not sure who is who around here but wasn't there a big run on Two Rocks a few years back around here with amps going for 8k +......and now you guys are laughing about a guy trying to sell his Van Weelden for the same price while the pros are using rigs that cost half as much? I'm beginning to find this place mildly amusing and ridiculous.:huh

If I were looking for a D style amp, I would get another Glaswerks. Then have it voiced to ones taste.
