Cap and pot suggestions please

Hey gang, Im putting together a little esquire type guitar and have a little 59 humbucker on the way for the bridge and only pickup. I just want a volume and tone control. What K pots should I go with and what type of cap would you guys recommend for best results? Thanks !

250k CTS, audio taper, and an orange drop or a Mallory 150 (.022uF). Use Gibson style 50's wiring to avoid any loss of highs when rolling down the volume pot. I totally eliminated the switch on mine (actually removed it too).

I see a lot of people going with 500K pots with humbuckers, what would be the difference between 250 and 500K?
