Anyone have any experience with the Line 6 M9 sweep echo? I am trying to get some similar tones on my new Timeline. I believe the closet type of delay may be the filter... Anyone have any suggestions?

For example my M9's Sweep echo settings are:

It comes on slow and swirly. With a long decay and swooshing very pleasant fading away... Having a hard time matching this tone on the Timeline.

Any help is great. Cheers! M.

Not sure why do you ask?

Because if it does you can use a filtering or flanging effect in the delay signal by placing it in the effects loop. Thats what i do with my M13

Oh cool - well I would only use that sweep echo tone for a patch as I do on my M9. Not looking to add anything else to the tone - just trying to match the patch of the M9 settings pictured above to my Timeline. I'm replacing my M9.

The Timeline can't get as gritty/low-fi as the M-series when it comes to stuff like the sweep echo. It's just not possible with the filter range. There are some youtube videos that compare the differences.

It's not necessarily grit I'm after --- but know what you mean. I got the Timeline close with the Filter mode, but don't get the fading swirling lo-fi almost oscillation that happens on the M9's Sweep Echo....

Anyone have any thoughts on how to add some verging oscillation on the Timeline's Filter mode?
