Stripped one of the holes in my headstock for the truss rod cover!!! What's the best fix? I want to use the same tiny screw, so filling the hole and re-tapping is my preference. Thanks, AC

Put a little yellow glue on the end of a toothpick.Stick it in the hole and break it off then let the glue dry.If some of the toothpick is sticking out of the hole after the glue dries you can flush it up with a sharp chisel or knife.Or you can just fill it with a little epoxy or gel super glue.On that small of a hole it really doesn't matter much.

thats what i would do, that small of a hole doesn't need much for the screw to grab onto. also, would not recomend drilling and dowlewing in that thin area of the neck/headstock. you risk damaging finish etc .
wood glue, toothpick thats all you need.

I would us a pair of diagonal cutters to cut the toothpick flush once dried. A knife/chisel might slip and scratch the headstock.

As always, Frank Ford at Frets.com has a nice little pictorial on this subject.
