Doc wanted his bridge pickup rewound by pickup genius and superluthier Dominick Ramos, so the Jo Know Rastacaster spent a few days with me.

I'm not a fan of the Rose (or Schaller...whichever bridge)...
However, the rest of that guitar certainly rocks my world.
That top is breathtaking. Easy to see that this guy has skills. Hopefully, one day I'll own a JG.
Nice one, Matte.

j Not a Floyd guy either. Doc has come to rely on them after a couple of decades of world tours. Jo is incredible.

that is drrty...

this must be a new(er) one yeah?... not the same one i saw him playing on kimmel with mos def.

on a somewhat related subject, much music (canadian mtv) had a program on black artists in pop music and showed jo in action and heralded bad brains as pioneers both musically and in breaking down racial borders typical with the "punk" genre. that guy can play no doubt!

Very cool, thanks for posting. You always take great pics as well...

Matte, for some reason the JG's look very heavy... I'm curious what Doc's and yours weigh?

Dang!

In that 6th photo, I thought that the guitar was emitting dome green Dr. Know vapors or something...took me a few minutes to figure out that it was grass :D

What a cool guitar. Dr. Know is a monster player too!

Go to his website and select workshop. Looks like the next batch is finished and ready to ship. Who will the lucky ones be?!

That is the craziest 'burst I've ever seen!
