Ampeg Gemini VI info

A friend has asked me to check out his Ampeg Gemini VI. From the description he has given it just needs a new fuse holder and some general TLC (clean the pots, jacks, etc.). He can't remember ever changing the tubes, so a re-tube & bias is probably in order as well. The only place I've found that has all four types needed (12ax7, 7199, 7591a, & 6cg7) is the Tube Depot. Anybody done business with them?

I've found a schematic and some basic information on the web, but I'm still wondering: What kind of echo unit is in this amp? (tape, drum, other?)
