Hey Everyone,

Just wanted to pass along a new lesson I wrote where I lay out 5 classic sounding 7#11 licks over various chords and progressions.

I'm not a jazz guitarist, but those are pretty cool. I doubt that they will remain in my personal memory bank but thanks for going to the trouble of putting this up.

thanks guys, glad you dug them. Always good to look at other genres for inspiration, I love to take things from rock, blues, classical etc and bring them to my jazz playing. So have fun with them!

Very cool. Some of that stuff reminded me of the guitar stuff you would hear on The Beverly Hillbillies.

Thanks! Never thought about it sounding that way, but that's cool if it helps learn the scale. :)

Good licks. Like the rhythmic feel of #5.
