I have an old Yamaha G100 head, and I dont use it, and I dont really like it. However, it has a spring reverb tank, as well as a tremelo circuit (is that what they are called?). My current amp has neither of these. Would it be possible/reasonably easy to dig these out of one head and use them on the other? If so, how would I use them, in the effects loop? I've been pondering this for a while now, and thought I would ask for some advice before I go ripping up a perfectly good amp.

I posted this in the amp and cab section as well. I hope thats not against a rule I'm unfamiliar with....

selling the amp and buying the kit to build the 6g15 clone + tremolo that someone (don't remember who) makes might end up being the easier/safer/better/more realistic option.

Making those mods would require significant internal work to the amp.

Selling the amp and buying one with the features you want would make infinitely more sense.

I really only want the reverb....I realize the trem would be pretty rediculous to salvage. I tried looking for those reverb kits, but couldnt find anything....any suggestions on adding simple spring reverb to an amp (other than a reverb modeller pedal)
