Is my speaker blown?

Hey guys,

I was just playing with my Blues Junior and I started getting an uncontrollable howl from my amp.

It was plugged into a 2x12 with G12H30's and there were no problems whatsoever. When I switched over to the stock Eminence in the amp, the howling kicked in.

I've never blown a speaker before. I was playing it like I normally do with both volumes on 10. How could a 20 watt amp blow out a 50 watt speaker?

It's probably not blown. I suspect you have a microphonic tube that is being vibrated by your speaker.
