Anyone make a 50 watt plexi output transformer using 100 watt iron? I used to have a plexi clone with a Hoffman 50 watt OT. The hoffman used the same core for their 50 watt OT as their 100 watt OT and therefore the 50 watter sounded pretty much like a 100 if you pulled a couple tubes. IN OTHER WORDS HHHHHHHUUUUUUGGGGGEEEEEEE!

I think that's what Mohave did with theur scorpion. The OT is massive.

Heritage Colonial is (partly) based on the premise of getting the 100 watt sound in a 50 watt package. Excellent amp.

Sorry, I should have clarified. I'm not looking for an amp. I'm looking for an output transformer.
