Anyone tried the Tungsol Reissue ECC803s gold pins?? [Archive]

Anyone tried them yet? Made is Russia... so that makes me a bit dubious about them. I haven't heard too many good things about Russian tunes.

I've tried the Tung Sol reissue 12AX7 and it sounds pretty good. Forget about the gold pins and get the regular 12ax7 for $15.

Forgot about this gold pin version, but the regular Tung Sol Reissue is one of the best new production 12AX7s.

BTW, Russia does't have "a lock" on shoddy tube production, ALL new production tubes (China, Yugoslavia, Solvakia) are relatively shoddy compared to old US and Western Euro made tubes.
