Just picked up this somewhat motley crew of tubes off Ebay for 26$. I figure ive spent almost that much for one GT 12ax7 so what the heck! Supposeldy they are 3 GE's, 1 GT(cant tell which from picture and a mistrey tube. What do you guys think?

fair price i'd say. The GE's will be good, solid tubes. I'd throw the groove tube in the trash but that's just me.
I'm more curious abut the "mystery tube." I'd assume that is the one from the left with the long plate... this could be a very good tube. If it has the tube type printed inside a little flattened hexagon shape on the glass then it's american, probably RCA if there are no other markings.

The mystery tube is (I believe) an RCA by the shape of the spacers on the plates. The groove tube looks to be Russian, but I have seen some 12at7 groove tubes recently which are marked 6201 and are actually old GE stock. You just have to know what your looking at.If they're not microphonic or noisey, you got your moneys worth.
