the mailman just brought me a zendrive 2!

Well, i got this pedal in a trade for a Cusack Tap-A-Whirl. I only got to play it for a bout 15 minutes today, but this thing is freaking awsome. i'm totally in the honey moon phase but i am way stoked. i've never played a regular zendrive, so i can't compare, but after reading all the zendrive reviews over the past few months, i was really suprised at how much gain this booger had. The voice and tone knobs are very interesting and i haven't had time to fiddle with them much, but the pedal was really easy to dial in, and sounds awsome. very smooth for leads, and very thick and creamy for the rythm tones. this thing goes into feedback extremely easily (when you want it to) and sounds absolutely beautiful. it sings like a mofo. i'll get some clips sometime soon.

anyways, chances are i'm going to keep this pedal. but i'm interested in how the zendrive sounds compared to the zen 2. is it worth the extra money? or should i trade down for a regular zendrive and something like a tim?

btw, does anyone have a manual for this baby?

p.s. - the memory lane is a loaner pedal while mine gets fixed by diamond. i have the choice to keep it, or get my silver one back. what do you think? :D

Personally, I'd go with your silver ML, it will look great with the Zendrive 2 and your juice box.

Yes. After thinking about your dilemma, I've reached the conclusion that you should immediately trade it down for my brand new in the box Zendrive and some of my cash. :)
