Rerecorded it, used my strat with the APH-1b humbucker and my SE singlecoils.
Used my Quattro for effects, and then into my Marshall DRP-1, then into my soundcard.

I really love the way you mix your guitar into the mix. Real warm and clear. Sounds fantastic. Sexy in fact. LOL!

Great playing.... Nice chordal ideas too.

Hi Rid,

Scott really put his finger on it. Warm and clear indeed!

I finally got hold of a DRP-1. Hopefully it will arrive here tomorrow.
I will give it whirl and if it doesn't sound as good as yours I will take you up on your mod offer.

Cheers,

Mats N

Thanks guys:)
Ah you finally found one, hehe well let me know if you want to get redone.
John it is a Seymour Duncan APH-1 humbucker, a lowoutput PAF style pickup, I found one cheap, and since I have alot of other Duncans, I just thought that I would like to try this one as well, I got the neck version on another guitar, and I love it, and this one is no worse:)
Got it self a good home in my strat now, the SE's are some Japanese singlecoils, called Silky Edge, I think it is Gotoh who makes them, I had quite forgotten about them, then I found them the other day, and just stuck them, well I am pleased with the result.
Yeah that direct preamp has been modified over a year now, I think it is the most I can get out of it, I am looking for a 12v adaptor for it, just to see if the added juice will help it even more, tried a few digital ones, did not like those much, felt disconnected.
Then I prefer my pedals and use the preamp in clean mode.

Hi Rid!! Just listened to your clips now. Sounds REALLY nice!!! Are all the newer clips recorded using the quattro!? heard your proto-clip and the journo tower song. Sounds really nice, I must say! Have to check the quattro out! My only concern is if the drive(-s) can get distorted enough for my playing.
Thanks for the clips!!

Thanks.
It has a loop;)
Stick in some Metalzone or another angry beehive machine there:D
Hehe sorry could not resist it, try it on a nice tubeamp, it has more than enough gain for my taste, and I like some gain at times;)
