I just made a deal in the Guitar emporium for a Dolphin II. I'm pretty excited. Who else has or has had experience with Nik Huber instruments? Show me some Pics to hold me until the guitar arrives.............:dude :RoCkIn

Congratulations, you'll love the guitar. I'm not sure if pictures will hold you over...they'll probably make you more anxious. Here's a few pics of the one we picked up a couple months ago. Hope it holds you over for a few minutes.

It's the most resonant, beautiful sounding guitar I've laid hands on. The sound is definitely on par with the looks. The other two Hubers I've played have been the same. You can't go wrong.

Yeah, Nik did that for me a couple of years ago. Itīs the only
Classic( nylon-stringed)/E-guitar - combo, that I know of.
And even though itīs a bit tricky weightwise ,I just LOVE it! :D

Nikīs doing a Jazzbox for me at the moment (?) ,that has been in the making for almost two years now. Every now and then he achieves to work on it a little bit- just in between the work for his "stock" guitars ,that meanwhile pretty much consumes all his time - the more the demand for his marvellous instruments rises.

I sure could post some music, if somebody could help me with that..?
Iīm not that much of a PC crack...What does it take to get a digicam track on this site??:NUTS
In clubs I use a simple, (where needed miked) Fender Deluxe 90 for the acousic neck and a german Vantage PCL from the late 70 for the electric guitar, (sometimes a Boogie MK IV, when my good buddy Sven lets me have it, that is... ), or I go straight through the PA with the nylon neck and through the Boogie with the other neck.
But you can as well go with both necks from one jack to a single amp like the Fender 90 and have acceptable results as well in tiny locations.
I donīt use a special acoustic amp for the nylon neck to avoid those whistling, crispy overtones, which for me are not THAT desirable in a classical tone.

I don't own a Dolphin but after playing one a few months ago I would very much like to have one some day. Great guitar!
