Sh*t, that looks gorgeous. But what a terrible location. Where's the nearest Starbucks? Who are you going to call for Chinese? How can you write a blues without a train rolling by?

WOW!!! Inspiration has to strike in that set up. Is that a private studio, or do you have a recording business. That is really beautiful, and looks well thought out.

Agreed, nice looking set-up. But that view, ouch...no buildings, no smog...what will you do for inspiration?? :jo
Shit, my sister just moved to Seatte after living in Boulder for 10 years. I was in Boulder a lot while she lived there. You got an extra bedroom?

Wow! Beautiful place, beautiful studio! Born and raised in Littleton, spent many a fine time in Boulder over the years...kinda miss that ponderosa country sometimes, from up here in the far north...
Can you briefly explain the double stud walls?
I am just about to break ground on an addition to my house that is going to include a music room - not a full-blown recording studio, but a place for me and all my instruments to play and create. Sound isolation would be a very good thing, as I hope to be able to play actual amps and leave my headphones behind.
Thanks!

Let's hope the Mrs. doesn't open the garage door when you are recording your best solo ever!...or set off the car alarm.
That looks like a dream, and well done too...fits the house as well. Looks like you are doing it the right way, the only way.
...where is the green with envy smiley?

I actually have a switch in the control room that kills the garage door. :-)

See, that's what I'm saying...you've thought this out well.
...I assume there is a beer fridge in there somewhere.
