Hi Mike,

Thank you for your kind words. I use my right floating arm/hand?
and I really worked on both muting technique. I still have to
watch my self. Years ago, I had really bad picking habits. i picked
everything really hard and I pressed my left finger with unnecessary
forth into frets!!!

I still have clams. I am working on it. Thanks.

I like clean technique. Key is... practice with a rear pickup
with treble 10(amp). Your picking will do tone control.

Hi Steve,

Thanks again for coming to my clinic at Chicago ToneFest.

You sounded awesome! I really enjoyed your playing.

I am no master at guitar yet. That's why I am looking forward
everyday working.

You are great player yourself. I listen you too.

Thanks for your kind words. I will go to Chicago again soon.

Great Clip, the only thing I heard was the excessive OD. Your technique will benefit much more, as far as touch, If you roll back on the OD or run the "edge of breakup" on the cleans. You've got awesome chops and its really down to hear/watch a player that is so aware of everything thats goin on on the frets yet keeps the soul alive an well in it. Keep up the amazing work!

I am really picky about my clams, muting technique. I was just teaching
my tape lessons.

I have many lesson ideas... but this one really works.

1) Play slow blues in A. Using triads & bend(very specifc line as a etude)

2) Play with overdrive pedal. Brighther setting.

3) Play like a clean tone. So you have to pick notes
really soft. If you hit normal, you will hear gain from od pedal.

4) Play chords. 9th riffs with overdrive on. So that you can hear
your noises from your left fingers.

There are many things to follow this ex. That's what I do everyday.
That's why I am into my lawns!

This clip was ... SRV strat. Middle & rear pickups.

I usually set my amp
treble:6-7
middle:4-5
Bass:4

Gain 1/2? them master. Now my amp is much creamy.

Great to hear you live or recorded. Amazing talent pours from your fingers.
BTW, do you still play your Fender's with the Klon? I loved the way you sounded with that setup.

SRV Strat. I think I set my Fuchs very bright and less bass.
I play really soft at my home(those clips).

Hi Dave,

Thank you!

I slept well and feel good. It's time to work.

I really appreciate your words.

This clip is from my Solo Performance dvd. Solo guitar is fun to do.
You don't have to call up your rhythm section. Just show up
with your guitar (Joe Pass told me this...)

Hi John,

Sorry for my late reply. This was my SRV strat. Fuchs 50... Bob Burt V12s.... Eminence's the Wizards.

Now I have 4 Bob Burt cabs. All sound so great! Recently he made a micro one 12! It's 16' by 16'...
really nice bottom.. we really surprised by that.

I will catch up with you later.

Hi Joe,

How are you? I am doing fine. I ate too much this July 4th week!

Thank you so much for listening. I really liked the Wizard. Big, thick tone. I prefer more brighter top end myself.
I should try the Wizard again. Lately I have been using my Red Fang with my Bob Burt V12 cab. Micro Straight 2 12s with Tonespotters, One 12 with the Commonwealth or Red Ryder. I love those.

Let me know how you like them. Yes, talk to you soon! Sorry my late reply.

Hi Galo,

Thank you so much!

I like so many speakers. The Wizard has nice bottom end, fat tone...
The Tonker has definitely big sound of all. My main Bob Burt cab
is 2 12 with Eminence's Tonespotters. I like the Red Fang too.
Red Ryder, Commonwealth, and Tonkerlite for one 12 cab....
The Governor.... Red Whire and blues... those are in my combos...

Sounds like a really nice amp, Tomo.

Hi Marin,

Sorry for my late response. Hope you find right amp for you. Take your time. Amp is 1/2 part of your electric playing (maybe more). It can be a bit expensive. I recommend all my students to get really nice one .. even you need to take a loan. Should start earlier (to have good tone experience) than later... just like education. Talk to you soon!

Hi Gregory,

Sorry for my late reply. Thank you so much! You can check more live videos at Youtube...

Yes, I still play my Pro Reverbs. What a great amp. I still have the Klon. great pedal.. not enough gain for me. Listen to my cd "Put on your funk face" that's all Klon and Pro Reverb & Vibrolux Reverb mix.

Thanks,
