Congrats on the great tone and playing...
How do you like the Honey Bee, by the way?

Beautiful piece. Tell us more about the parts. I take it the slightly dirty lead melody was the Honey Bee which sounds awesome! What is an EX-7? Where does the CC2 come in. You can also really hear in a good way the Bi-Comp-was that the Ross side all the way through or did the Juicer make an appearance too? Definitley a Floyd like atmosphere with something else I cannot put my finger on but very nice.

Cool! A little Knopfler influence maybe?

dude...

you understand that you have to compress (limit) the signal before it hits your pre amp, and then make sure the track is not in the red when you mix it down right? cause that soundbyte clipped like mad.

nice playing, but you should really read up on recording a bit.

nice tone again. peace

Analogjunkie,

I mean no disrespect whatsoever but check your soundcard, man. I get glitches once in a while when clicking on links for sound clips. It has to do with playing MP3's over the net, not the recording itself.

I got no clipping at all. I don't think it's cool to tell people to read up on recording especially when your new to the forum. Munky's been around for a while and knows how to record clips well. A comment like that could easily turn into a flame fest even though you may not have intended it. Again, no disrespect meant and welcome to TGP. :rotflmao

Sounded good here. I love my Honey Bee too!

Mine is; Suhr S -> Diamond Compressor -> Honey Bee -> Carr Rambler. Supreme tones.

Great tone. Very molodic peice. It reminded me a lot of Michael Schenker when he slows down. Good job.

analogjunkie,

I generally compress/limit before the recording device's inputs, not before the preamp ;) . Plus, I never knew I HAVE to do it. Thanks for letting me know.

Nice tone and playing MrMunky. I wouldn't "read up" on recording at all, actually. Just keep doing it. That's much more productive :D

What a nice sound! Are you using the CC2 on the lead out?
