Got a couple 5963's in a lot of tubes. The site lists them as possible sub for 12AX7? Any info appreciated,thanks Bob

From what I know, the gain on these is more in line with a 12AU7. I believe they are a sort of high grade industrial 12AU7.

Maybe someone with some experience with them will chime in.

I think your right. Unfortunately I have no use for 12AU7's.

I think they are very popular with the high end audio types. You may be able to sell or trade?
